The big name free agents are gone but its not like there were many to pick from and it doesn't preclude the Birds from doing a trade or going after a RFA. Remember they traded for Peters last year. They also picked up Hobbs in the draft via trade. This draft looks like its gonna be very deep so teams might have more interest in getting picks this year and the Birds always have picks. I've been really surprised its been this long with no annoucement. Didn't Haynesworth run to the bank at like 2 am last year? That's what I expected from Peppers. There are more and more reports coming out about other teams Peppers is willing to visit (last read was Philly and NE). Seems like his agent is letting this out to really force Chicago's hand-pay up or were on a flight to the Eastcoast. Still wondering if Peppers is worth it.
