Eagles Rumors

The Eagles were finally able to get their first round pick to agree to contract terms late last night.  Maclin signed a five-year deal worth a total of $15.5 million dollars, $9.5 million of that guaranteed.

Last season’s #19 pick (Jeff Otah), signed a five-year deal worth a total of $14.4 million, with a little under $9 million guaranteed.  It’s unclear what transpired last night to finally get Maclin to sign, as it was believed all along the Eagles were offering last season’s #19 value plus a standard increase — which is exactly what Maclin ended up getting.

Maclin will be at camp today.
