Week 1 Report: Wednesday
Looks like everyone is practicing for the Eagles today. All systems are go.
Jamaal Jackson has worked his tail off and it’s paid off for him — he’s your week one starting center. To their credit the Birds appear to have handled this perfectly (but keep your fingers crossed through the first few weeks).

Packers @ Eagles is 4 pm on Sunday, the Fox national game.
Eagles Make Another Trade
The Birds have acquired defensive end Antwan Barnes from the Ravens. The Eagles have given up a 2011 draft pick (certainly late rounder).
Barnes will add depth to defensive end, the Birds have had major injuries their this spring and summer.
Uh Oh. Eagles Trade for Guard
The Eagles have traded a conditional pick for Cardinals backup guard Reggie Wells.
This has got to mean the Eagles don’t see as much depth in their O-line as we had optimistically considered. Particularly, it could spell doom for MJG or even Stacy Andrews.
