Today We’ve Learned A Lot

This entry was posted on Mar 24 2010

Andy Reid was surprisingly forthcoming with reporters today at the league’s annual meetings.  What we’ve learned:

The Eagles continue to listen to offers for McNabb.  Reid had never talked with this kind of openness about the trade market for McNabb before.  It seems that signs now point towards McNabb being sent away.

The teams that are most likely interested in McNabb:  Buffalo, San Francisco, Oakland.  Not necessarily in order of probability.

Teams have asked and made offers for Sheldon Brown.  Brown wants a new contract.

Jeremiah Trotter is not coming back.

Jamaal Jackson will likely miss most of training camp.  We knew this.  He’ll be fortunate to play at all in 2010, honestly.

  1. im hoping pouncey falls in rd2 to us but im not sure i agree that he might not play in 2010.i think by week 3 he should be ready.ive had two acl tears.if 5 leaves itll be sad hes been so loyal and always been a class act.i believe if the f.o can put trust in kolb well be ok.but im thinking the price tag on donovan is waaaaay too low.
