Heckert Interviewing in Cleveland

Eagles GM Tom Heckert is traveling to Cleveland tonight to interview with the Browns GM position tomorrow. Presumably he would be making more independent personnel decisions with the Browns than with the Eagles, making this seemingly lateral move still worthwhile to him.
That seems like kind of an odd move if he takes that job, because of holmgren im guessing? Who would even be a candidate to replace him should he leave. I really know nothing about GMs as far as who is out there or who would be qualified.
It is really only a matter of time before Heckert moves on. He won’t go just anywhere, but if the right place offers him autonomy with personnel decisions he will of course take it.
There could be several positions available to him — one of the current ones being Seattle.
