Specialists in Pittsburgh have given their opinion about Brian Westbrook’s injuries and their impact on his football future — and they are encouraging.
They used the phrase “excellent prognosis” and “expect a full recovery”. Rehab will continue through the next two to three weeks, so he’ll be out at least that long.
Westbrook may choose to see others for a second opinion, which would be wise. These doctors may have told him what he wanted to hear, but that doesn’t mean the second opinion is any less vital.
