Feeley to New England for a Tight End?
We speculated with our readers several weeks back about the Eagles potential trade partners for a tight end.
It looks like we might finally get some resolution there. With a quarterback to spare, the Eagles have been contacted by several teams — including the Patriots — about AJ Feeley.
And Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reports that the Eagles have been checking out the Patriots’ tight ends.
The Patriots are going to be starting Chris Baker. And have Benjamin Watson, Alex Smith (formerly of the Bucs), and newby David Thomas.
Tuesday Update — Cuts Today
The Eagles have to cut their roster down to 75 guys by 4 pm today. The 53-man roster has to be finalized this weekend. Today is the day they may finally move badly injured guys (Bradley, Ingram) to IR.
Max-Jean Gilles is apparently back at practice and is playing LG with the first team. Darren Howard is also back at practice for the first time since he suffered a groin injury.
Kevin Curtis is still out with knee inflammation.
No word on the possibility of trade for Reggie Brown, Hank Baskett, or AJ Feeley. Any trade would go down before the weekend roster deadline.

Update: The team placed Stewart Bradley and Cornelius Ingram on IR. To finish getting down to 75, the team cut linebacker Charleston Hughes and safety Brandon Harrison.
22 players have to be removed from the active roster by Saturday at 6 pm.
