More Roster Moves — Baskett is Gone

The Eagles have announced that Hank Baskett has been released. The move was made so that Michael Vick could be added to the active roster. Vick may now being practicing with the team.
WTF?!?!?!? I get the fact that if Brown had been released we would’ve had a cap penalty…..but still….Baskett was:
A) The only tall receiver we had!
B) Our best Run-blocking WR
C) An awesome special teamer
So why he’s gone…..idk. This is a bad move by the front office. I was excited about Brown a couple years ago…..but he hit a wall and never rebounded.
Baskett just seemed to improve every year…although he didn’t get the chances Brown did, he made the most of them. Does anyone agree with me here?
i agree 100% take the hit and get brown off this team. i liked baskett’s size and effort, reggie clown has neither.
yea otherwise we need to wait another 2 years i think till his contract is up…..why pay a dude like 2.3 mill to sit on the bench?!?!?!?
i’m just making a random price there….he actually is earning less i’m sure. i’ll say this though….if he breaks out and gets like 300 or 400 yards…(won’t happen with Avant and Maclin and eventually Gibson ahead of him) i won’t be as angry. but he’s gone this off season. if not…..i’m calling for all Philadelphia Eagles fans to riot!
