Fokou Overtaking Mays?

An incredible development at middle linebacker:
The Eagles love how instinctive and physical Fokou has been both at practice and in games. They don’t feel Mays has done a bad job with the first defense, but Fokou is now getting reps with the starting unit, and it’s clear that 19 days before the regular-season opener, this competition is wide open.
Obviously this is a shocker to pretty much everyone who has followed the Birds this pre-season. Not that Mays is an established force on this team, but that Fokou is such a come-out-of-nowhere guy (7th round pick).
Tomorrow night’s game appears to be a rather big deal for Mays.
