Conflicting Reports on Birds and Curtis

Update 2: A few of you emailed us to let us know the Birds also signed linebacker Curtis Gatewood. We failed to mention it mostly because we see no way for the guy to make it through cuts next week, so we chose not to expend the energy. Sorry ’bout that.
Update: The organization has confirmed the signing.
As you read here yesterday, the Daily News’ “source within the organization” claimed the Eagles had decided not to sign for Cowboys’ TE Tony Curtis.
Last night, 950 AM Radio’s Brian Seltzer reported the opposite –
Per a source, the Eagles have come to terms on a one year-deal with TE Tony Curtis. He arrived at Nova Care Complex earlier this evening.
No announcement from the team, yet. Nothing on philly.com, either.
