Maclin Deal Nearly Done?

According to a source with inside knowledge of the Jeremy Maclin negotiations, the deal could be done as early as today.
The time seems right, with more first rounders signing each day — Steiner may feel more comfortable with his position.
Update: Apparently Maclin is in Philly, waiting for the deal to be finished, and will be at the first practice session after it’s official.

Just heard on Daily News Live that the Eagles have a new deal on the table and they’re just waiting to hear from Maclin and his agent. The reporter also said Maclin is supposedly in Philly so he can be at camp as soon as he signs.
I also read on ESPN.com that Detroit reached a deal with Pettigrew who was drafted at #20 right after Maclin. Number 16 was also signed which should give Maclin’s agent a solid benchmark for a deal.
I hope this thing is over by tonight or tomorrow morning. Go EAGLES!
