Reid’s Agent: Contract Extension Likely

This entry was posted on Jun 20 2009

Andy Reid’s agent, Bob LaMonte says that he sees it as likely that Andy Reid and the Eagles will work out a contract extension this summer.

“It’s been a fabulous relationship, ongoing with the Eagles, and I’d expect it to continue.”

The 2009 season is the final year of Reid’s current deal.  There has been much speculation that with Reid’s family troubles he could leave the Eagles when his contractis over.

  1. I hope he stays with the team. I would really be disappointed and truly sad if i was to see Reid leave the Eagles without a ring. He deserves one as much as the city itself does and more than any other head coach I can think of. And i would be pretty pissed if he does leave the game for a while but then comes back to coaching, and takes another team there for the win. but with all that said I would understand him leaving for the good of his family because it should be family first.
