Tinoisamoa Visiting Eagles

This entry was posted on May 20 2009

Recently released (from the Rams) linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa will be visiting the Eagles, according to ESPN.com’s Tim Graham.

Tinoisamoa is a potential challenger at the WLB position.  He is 27.

Update:  In what has become sort of a routine — the Daily News reports a “team source” is denying it.

  1. On philly.com they now say they have a source denying ESPN.com’s report, fyi. I hate this time a year. The only news right now is about players possibly Twittering something and the annual Favre retirement debate. August can’t get here fast enough.

  2. no shit.im sooooo sick of farve what an attention whore.i dont know anything about this lb.is he any good?i would assume not if hes being cut by the rams.

  3. Very good until 06 and 07. He was injured most of those seasons. Came back to form last year and was healthy. He’s being cut for cap reasons. It’s a coin flip between jordon, gaither and this guy. If owners choose to expand the season and rosters are expanded, than he would make sense. Otherwise…… move along, nothing to see here.

  4. Pisa would had a whole new dimention to the Eagles D. His style of play is what the Eagles are looking for. He isnt a very big guy (215 - 220) range, but plays fast and can get to the QB. The Rams restricted his role and never allowed for him to roam free. Trust me i have been watching Pisa play since high school at Vista, and Hawaii university. It’s a no brainer…sign him up!!

  5. yeah but he got cut from the rams,i mean u gotta be pretty hopeless right?i dont know.can the season just start already?we need a new kicker too then i think we should be set.

  6. Simply a cost cutting move. The Lambs are trying to get younger.
