Banner, Brown Sit Down and Chat

This entry was posted on May 14 2009

According to Comcast’s Derrick Gunn, Joe Banner invited Sheldon Brown into his office for a face-to-face chat.  The two have apparently mutually decided to keep quiet regarding Brown’s contract situation.  Presumably, Banner smoothed things over with Brown regarding his feeling like a “ugly stepchild”, while simultaneously assuring him no new contract was coming any time soon.

Brown, for his part, appears ready to play this season.

  3. ill — Thanks for the feedback. News from the end of the draft until July can be pretty slow. But we do have a few plans to try and keep things interesting around here. We’ll get started with something next week.

And as always, thanks for stopping by.

  4. Yeah, it`s pretty slow everywhere. Same thing happens to all the rumor sites. Training camp gets it going.
