First Off-Season Workouts Start Friday

This entry was posted on Apr 28 2009

A few notes:

This week’s camp is mandatory, and Sheldon Brown says he’ll be there.  It’s not hard to understand why, with the potential to be fined $15,000 a day for unexcused absense.

Brandon Gibson sure is a polite fellow.

Despite some rumblings, the Eagles are unlikely to be interested in recently made UFA Leroy Hill.  Hill is a very good young outside linebacker who will likely get much more than the Eagles would be willing to invest, all things considered.

  1. so sick of this sheldon brown crap.just trade him for a olb and lets extend d mac and lets go into this season focused on a championship.it seams like every offseason there is someone causin drama usually a corner.

  2. won’t happen. Sheldon’s too good right now. yea he’s mouthin off but we’ll probably just renegotiate before training camp because he’s one of the most underrated corners in the game. he’s staying.

  3. ok well lets get it resolved and focus on moving forward.stay or go at this point i dont care just shut up.i really dont see a renegotiation though.its a six year deal with four years left the front office wont be held hostage like that. they arent gonna let other players think they can run shit.

  4. sheldon will stay. he might not be as happy as possible, but i think he’ll act like a professional, or at least i hope he does when it comes to his play.

    >>just trade him for a olb

larry foote will be released from the steelers in a day or two, i can see she eagles taking a look into him. i wouldn’t mind getting him and keeping sheldon that would be a diiiirty d, lol

  5. when all this first went down i thought losing him would be devestating but now i feel like hes gonna be a cancer.pro on field and camera doesnt mean pro in locker room.why would you leave a superbowl bound team for a couple mil?greed.send him to detroit.
