I came across an interesting post detailing Q Boldin. He was on hand for little brother DJ`s pro day at wake forest. Just so happens eagles brass was present. Hmmmm…. could we have a boldin tandem catching balls next year?
according to bleedinggreennation.com these players also:
Virginia OT Eugene Monroe
Portland St, CB Reggie Jones
Abilene Christian WR Johnny Knox
Liberty RB Rashad Jennings
The Eagles have sent LB coach Bill Shuey to check out Pitt LB Scott McKillop
Thanks, Rich. Updated with all but McKillop, since his wasn’t a “private” workout. The Eagles are really at too many Pro Days — not worth even trying to track.
According to NFL.com’s Blog News Section has Alabama’s OT Andre Smith visiting the Eagles sometime this week or next in addition to four other teams.
looks like focus is on ot rb and wr thank god.i get scared they might pull some last minute wierd pick like a dt or something.but looks like they got theyre priorities in order.
Patrick Chung played for Oregon, no?
He sure did. Thanks.
Howard eskin said yesterday taht Moreno and Crabtree will visit. Just an fyi.
[Georgia running back] Moreno and receivers Michael Crabtree of Texas Tech and Percy Harvin of Florida have visits scheduled with the Eagles this week.

“The Eagles have some big boys in town today with Jason Peters on his way and the highest rated tight end in the draft Brandon Pettigrew of Oklahoma State visiting the Birds today. ”

would anyone be so kind to fill me in on what a private workout consist of?obviously a workout ,but do they do psych evaluations and things like that?
I read somewhere they go through some plays in the “classroom” to make sure you can grasp the system. It seemed like a much longer version of the player interviews during the combine and gives a chance to do it to players that weren’t invited. As for the psych evals, I am not sure if the Eagles do it, but I believe the 9ners did it to Stafford; I read they asked about his mother’s death or something to see how he’d handle it. Not sure if they bring in a doc to really test the player or if its just a coach asking “what would you do” type questions.
To correct myself- the Niners asked him at the Combine about his parents’ divorce; didn’t want to make the Niners out to be heartless or falsely say Stafford’s mother is dead. Less than a week away!
ok thanks.i was gonna say that was fucked up if they asked him bout his dead mom.i was just curious, thanks.
