Houshmandzadeh’s Agent: Massive Fail

This is hilarious, and if the rumor is true, Houshmandzadeh can’t be happy with Kennard McGuire, his agent.
Apparently, McGuire contacted the Eagles on Friday and informed them that Houshmandzadeh was willing to come to Philadelphia for a contract that was less than he would accept elsewhere.
The Eagles, intrigued but never enamored with Houshmandzadeh anyway, made a few phone calls and found out that McGuire was lying to them. And the contract numbers he had given them were actually HIGHER than the other teams.
The Eagles can’t be pleased.
You can understand why a sneaky, sleazy agent would try to manipulate a team in the Birds situation — willing and capable of spending a lot of money, and pressure from the fan base to acquire someone like his client.
But the Birds front office is NOT the group that would fall for this crap.
If the Eagles are to acquire a new wide receiver during free agency, it’s not going to be Housh.
